NVC Faculty Member Will Serve as Katrina/Rita Director of Transitional Recovery

Northwest Vista College (NVC) government faculty, Robert Marbut, has been offered the position of Director for Transitional Recovery Office for the Katrina/Rita recovery in Mississippi. In this capacity, Robert will serve as the "President's direct representative" at the disaster operation site, coordinate/facilitate all federal activities related to recovery in Mississippi, and report to Congress on the progress of recovery efforts.
