(San Antonio, TX – September 5, 2007) Northeast Lakeview College hosted a President’s Welcome Back Picnic on August 29th for new and returning students. To kick-off the new academic year, the meet and greet event featured hotdogs, popcorn and snow cones. Students had the opportunity to meet NLC President, Dr. Eric Reno and learn about the new Northeast Lakeview College campus. “It’s amazing how much you can learn by spending 30 seconds with a student,” says Reno. “Students really appreciated an event that focused on them.”

Coordinated by Cheryl Le Gras, Student Activities & Leadership Coordinator, NLC hosted two sessions of the picnic, catering to both day and evening students. With more than 400 students attending the picnic, a similar event is planned for the Spring.
