San Antonio College Hosts Tech Expo & Career Fair on March 27

Technology Exposition & Career Fair
 


WHAT:

San Antonio College hosts the annual Technology Exposition and Career
Fair with various displays and demonstrations of the most current technology in a variety of fields.

Exhibits, displays and demonstrations will be hosted by technology vendors including Dell Inc. and some 50 technology companies,  as well as LULAC and departments of San Antonio College, Northwest Vista College, Palo Alto College, St. Philip’s College and Northeast Lakeview College.

Additionally, career information, bilingual financial aid information, Tech Prep and academic counseling will be available.

Music and food booths will be available, and visitors will have many opportunities to win scholarships and prizes with drawings held every hour.
Scholarships can be applied to Fall 2008 coursework at any of the ACCD colleges.

Candler Physical Education Center
(building is located on San Pedro Ave. at W. Park Ave. - parking in lot 21 next to SAC tennis courts)

 

WHO:

Hundreds of students from local high schools and colleges are expected to attend throughout the event.

The Tech Expo Committee includes San Antonio College representatives Charlotte Wolf, Coordinator; Dale Mooso, Tech Prep Group Leader; and Martha Buchanan, Volunteer Coordinator; Palo Alto College representative Sharon Carson; St. Philip’s College representatives Bess Porter; Northwest Vista College representative Patti Garza; and ACCD representatives John Soto and
Lydia Martinez.
