St. Philip's College Teams Up With the San Antonio Missions (Image by Patrick Evans): St. Philip’s College promotes education inside the Nelson W. Just as in the file photo from 2007, members from the college will promote the college’s new and unique programs through a community partnership with the San Antonio Missions baseball team. People who want to experience St. Philip’s College and the Missions in one or more easy visits should attend all of the SPC-sponsored Missions home games at Nelson W. Wolff Stadium on June 5, June 19, July 18, Aug. 7 and Aug. 21, times to be announced. SAN ANTONIO (June 2, 2008) --- St. Philip’s College is aiming for a home run by promoting the college’s new and unique programs through a community partnership with the San Antonio Missions baseball team. Baseball fans and potential students can take advantage of the excellent and affordable education while enjoying the Missions games in several ways that promote education this season. SPC experts and students are on hand at select games, signing people up for college, and providing testimonials about the college and its programs. Volunteer SPC members from students to faculty are on the field and in the stadium during promotions. Game announcers promote the team and education. The college promotes education inside the Nelson W. Wolff Stadium during Missions games.
