PAC Mariachi Students Receive $2,000 Scholarships

SAN ANTONIO—Five Palo Alto College Mariachi students received $2,000 in scholarships during the Campanas de America Scholarship Gala held at Pearl Stable, Sept. 19.

The scholarships recipients are Richard Herrera, Ashley Esquivel, Stacey Mazuca, Mike Galvez and Joe Jimenez.

The students were selected for their commitment to the PAC Mariachi Music Program and for their high academic achievements.

Palo Alto College, one of The Alamo Colleges, is a fully accredited community college located on the Southside, and awards associate degrees, short-term certificates and offers non-credit continuing education classes.
