ST. PHILIP'S COLLEGE COMMUNICATION SKILLS STUDIO TO OFFER FREE MINI-WORKSHOP SERIES THIS SUMMER


The St. Philip's College Communication Skills Studio will present a series of free self-improvement workshops this summer covering a wide array of areas ranging from stress management to study skills.

All workshops are free and open to the community, however donations of canned goods to the St. Philip's College Equity Center food bank are appreciated. The workshops are offered on Thursdays from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. in the Norris Technical Building, Room 107A.

Workshops to be offered include the following: Memory Techniques, June 19; Note-taking Skills, June 26; Reading for Learning, July 3; Learning Styles, July 10; Test-taking Strategies, July 17; Overcoming Test Anxiety, July 24; and Stress Management, July 31.

The Communication Skills Studio is part of St. Philip's College's Educational Support Services and provides assistance to the college and local community through workshops that are generally offered free of charge. More information is available by calling 531-3544.
