SAC Honors Students Sponsor "Dare to Cut Your Hair" Benefit

The public is invited to help children who suffer from permanent hair loss by donating their own hair in a "Dare to Cut Your Hair" event at San Antonio College on Monday, Nov. 3, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. in the Loftin Student Center Fiesta Room. The event is co-sponsored by Phi Theta Kappa student honors society and K. Charles Salon & Co.

Donors must have a minimum of 10" (one-length) of healthy hair they are willing to donate to the Locks of Love Foundation. The K. Charles Salon will offer free haircuts and styling for this cause on a first-come, first-served basis. Those wishing to offer their support for donors are also invited to attend.

The Locks of Love Foundation provides wigs for children who suffer from a permanent loss of hair due to severe burns or a condition known as Alopecia Areata.
