NORTHWEST VISTA COLLEGE LAUNCHES COLLEGE NEWS CENTER (CNC)

Northwest Vista College recently launched the College News Center (CNC) to increase student activity and participation around campus. Through the CNC portal, students are able to share information about campus events, closures, resources, quick links, and much more. All students, faculty and staff members can access the CNC on campus by visiting http://nvcnews/students. Students can also view the CNC from any workstation on campus, including AB 234, AB 208, and AB 117. These computer labs have the CNC set up as the desktop on the workstations.

The objective of the College News Center is to increase student communication and campus activity awareness, explains Sandra Chavez, NVC Senior Applications Analyst and CNC Co-Facilitator. We would like to see more students participate in student activities throughout the campus.

Other members of the CNC working team include Co-Facilitator Debi Gaitan, Shawn Harward, Daniel Johnson, and Janie Scott.

 

Faculty and staff may request an event to be published to the CNC by completing the CNC Publishing Request form. This form can be downloaded from http://www.accd.edu/nvc/success/leadership.htm under Forms.
