Palo Alto College Drama Students to Present Christmas Performance ‘The Second Shepherd’s Play

Palo Alto…On Stage will present ‘The Second Shepherd’s Play’ at 2:15 p.m. on Dec. 5, 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 6 and 7 p.m. on Dec. 7, in the Performing Arts Building, Room 100A.

The play is free and open to the public.

The medieval mystery play centers around three simple shepherds who are summoned by an angel to Bethlehem. Along their journey, they experience first hand the powers of the mystical when they forgive a thief and his wife and again when they meet the Christ child.

The highly comedic and sincere performance is appropriate for all ages.

Student performers include Juanita Gonzalez, Elain Sikes Borneman, Eric Mocyzgemba, Jessica A. Lara, Eugene Moore, Teresa Todrick, Victoria Ruiz, Diana V. Graces, Ashley N. McRae, Rachelle Flores, and Janaye Bruton.
