ST. PHILIP'S COLLEGE SEEKS PART-TIME INSTRUCTORS;
COLLEGE TO HOLD ADJUNCT FACULTY JOB FAIR NOV. 16
St. Philip's College, in an effort to recruit more part-time instructors, will hold an Adjunct Faculty Job Fair
from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16 in the Continuing Education Building on the college's main campus at
1801 Martin Luther King Drive. The Job Fair is free and open to persons interested in teaching at the community
college level on a part-time basis. Applicants are asked to bring transcripts and supporting materials with them
to the fair. In general, adjunct (or part-time) instructor positions the arts and sciences require a minimum of a
master's degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline. Minimum requirements for adjunct instructors in
applied sciences and technologies vary according to program and/or occupational field. Part-time instructors may be
asked to teach day, evening and/or weekend classes, though daytime weekday classes currently are top priority. More
