ST. PHILIP’S COLLEGE STUDENT'S GINGERBREAD HOUSE WINS BEST OF SHOW

A gingerbread house entitled "Carousel" by Culinary Arts student Mari Corales took Best of Show honors in the San Antonio Children's Museum's Gingerbread Competition and Silent Auction.

"Carousel" was one of four entries by St. Philip's College students that raised $375 in a silent auction benefiting the Children's Museum. Other entries included "Monopoly Game," which took second place and "Candyland" and "Radio Flyer." The students were coached by pastry chef and adjunct faculty member Cynthia Hernandez.
