Elizabeth “Beth” Ann Oswalt is a first-generation college student who has completed 50 hours of college-level work. As an education major she maintains a 3.93 grade point average and has been on the President’s Honors List or the Dean’s List every semester at Palo Alto College. She is also a member of Phi Theta Kappa, an honor society for two-year colleges.

At Palo Alto College she is on the fencing club, and is completing her teaching observation as part of her academic requirements. Off campus she is involved in her children’s activities where they participate in soccer and karate. She is also actively involved in her church and the PTA.

Beth and her husband, Russell, a disabled Air Force veteran and a student at Palo Alto, have two (2) children Jacob and Jesse, ages 7 and 13 respectively.
