Student of the Mont Vicky M. Tankoua
Vicky M. Tankoua - Brief Biography

Vicky M. Tankoua is a student at Northwest Vista College. She began her college career in 2005 at Delaware County Community College, Pennsylvania, where she completed 38 credit hours earning a 3.6 GPA. In her first three semesters, she finished Calculus I and II, Freshman Composition I and II, Biology I and II, Chemistry I and II, Psychology, and Intro to Computer Science. She enrolled at Northwest Vista College in 2006 where she has completed an additional 26 hours in just one year, taking Organic Chemistry, History I, Physics I and II, Anatomy and Physiology, Microeconomics, and Speech, all the while maintaining a perfect GPA.

She is currently enrolled in Humanities and plans to take 16 semester hours of sophomore-level courses in the fall. Although she is a full-time student, Vicky also finds time for activities outside the classroom. Vicky has volunteered with elderly at their retirement home, serving the residents by reading to them and participating in numerous activities. She now works as a cashier at Sea World, a job she enjoys as it allows her to continue to interact with people - a skill she will certainly employ in the medical professions. She is the oldest of five children and spends a lot of time supervising the three youngest (ages 9, 7, and 5) while still making time for herself to read and watch movies.
