Update from the Chancellor

Goal I. Access to Higher Education
The Department of Institutional Advancement completed a new Gift Agreement with the San Antonio – Medical Center Rotary Club for a $5,000 gift for nursing scholarships and submitted a proposal to the San Antonio Area Foundation for a TRIAD grant that would give SAC resources to assist wounded veterans returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan. The community-wide event provided attendees information on admission, college courses, scholarships, workforce training, continuing education, children’s programs, and degree and career planning.
