Update from the Chancellor

Goal I. Access to Higher Education
A team from the Alamo Community Colleges, including Drs. Zeigler, Reno, and Fabianke, attended the P-16 Regional Council Summit in Austin on June 20-21st. Titled “Creating a College-Going Culture and Well-Educated Communities,” the summit focused on the changing face of the Texas Labor Market and current student career interests. (MORE)

St. Philip's College Celebrates Juneteenth! SPC President Dr. Adena Williams Loston (r) explains the importance of freedom and education, and why we celebrate Juneteenth, to children at the SPC Kid's Adventure Camp. The day's festivities included inflatable slides and tunnels and face painting for kids, plus storytelling, live gospel music and poetic expressions. For more on the event, see the Celebrations page.
