Monday and Tuesday, July 16-17
NORTHWEST VISTA COLLEGE
9:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. in Huisache Hall Student Lounge, Blood Drive
This year, Northwest Vista College is partnering once again with the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center to sponsor blood drives on campus. In 2005, students, faculty, and staff donated 677 units of blood. In 2006, 713 units of blood were donated. In 2007, 292 units have been collected. On June 6 and 7, NVC donated 98 units of blood, contributing nearly 10 percent of the supply required by the city of San Antonio.

College Health Center Coordinator John Seimetz, Special Services Manager Sharon Dresser and Learning Disabilities Specialist Daniel Clark have been instrumental in promoting the donor drives and educating students, faculty and staff about the importance of giving blood. For more information, please contact John Seimetz at 348-2197.

Thursday, July 19

7 p.m., Nelson Wolff Stadium, SAC Night at the Missions, San Antonio Missions vs. the Frisco Roughriders baseball game
Discounted tickets ($6) are on sale in the SAC Bursar's Office, FAC 201.

Thursday-Saturday, July 19-21
ST. PHILIP'S COLLEGE
10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., Watson Fine Arts Center Theater on the SPC Main Campus
St. Philip’s College Academy of Fine Arts for middle and high school students presents a children’s theatre production of “The 2 Stories of the 3 Little Pigs." All performances are free and open to the public. The play lasts about 35 minutes and is appropriate for children of all ages.

Saturday, July 21
SAN ANTONIO COLLEGE
3-5 P.M., Municipal Auditorium, 101 Auditorium Circle, GED Graduation Ceremony
SAC Continuing Education is partnering with the City of San Antonio Department of Community Initiatives for the 2007 GED Graduation Ceremony.
