Jordan Ford, Ltd. of San Antonio has established a Founder’s Endowment Scholarship in the amount of $5,000 to Northeast Lakeview College, the newest of the Alamo Community Colleges. A named Founder’s Scholarship Endowment provides a perpetual source of income, managed by the ACCD Foundation, from which the proceeds are then awarded.
The accrued funds from the Jordan Ford Founder’s Scholarship Endowment will be used to award scholarships to future Northeast Lakeview College students. The first student scholarship from the proceeds of this contribution will be awarded in Fall 2008.
“We are delighted to be building relationships in the community that will have a direct impact on our students,” said Dr. Eric Reno, Northeast Lakeview College president. “As Northeast Lakeview College becomes established, contributions like this will not only provide institutional history, but build futures for Northeast Lakeview College students.”
