| The Alamo Community Colleges offer their condolences to SAC Professor of English Carol Ann Britt and her family on the loss of Carol's husband, attorney John Baker Britt, who passed away August 29, 2007. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 22, 2007, at 2 p.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 1416 N. Loop 1604 E. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the ACCD Foundation for San Antonio College student scholarships.
The Alamo Community Colleges offer their condolences to the family of Mildred Person Tippens, who passed away on September 11, 2007. She was the mother of Brenda Major, LVN, St. Philip's Southwest Campus Health Center, and Margaret Mercadel, SPC advisor, and the grandmother of Michelle Gable, SAC assistant bursar and Douglas Gable, SPC assessment tech. Services and burial were held on Saturday, September 15 under the direction of Carter-Taylor Mortuary, 601 N. Center St.
The Alamo Community Colleges offer their condolences to Gloria De Luna, St. Philip's College
Veteran's Affairs Office, on the loss of her grandfather, Francisco Paredes, who passed away September 7, 2007, at the age of 110.
