Update from the Chancellor

Goal I. Access to Higher Education
Northeast Lakeview College participated in the Converse Economic Development Expo on September 10-11, 2007. Its purpose was to facilitate a platform where businesses, government, and community organizations came together with mutually beneficial interests. Participants received an update on the development and construction progress on the new NLC and potential NLC workforce development partnerships were discussed. (MORE)

Faculty Spotlight
Carmen Reyes-Johnson, adjunct history instructor at San Antonio College, is co-author of a new book, "Eyewitness to Texas History," published this year by Hunt Publishing Company. Her co-authors are Felix D. Almaraz and Patricia Thompson. (MORE)
Celebrations
The Energy Systems Laboratory (ESL) and the Texas Engineering Experiment Station (TEES) recently recognized the Alamo Community Colleges for saving more than $2.5 million in utility costs since the implementation of the district’s Energy Conservation program in 2002. (MORE)
