The Alamo Community Colleges extend their condolences to Therese Palacios, PAC's assistant professor of administrative computer technology, whose mother passed away Friday, November 9. Funeral services were held under the direction of The Angelus Funeral Home, 1119 N. St. Mary's, 227-1461
In memory of James Edward Dyer, a former SAC student in the early 1980's who passed away October 24, 2007, a live oak tree will be dedicated on Wednesday, November 14, at 3 p.m. in front of the Moody Learning Center (northwest corner) at SAC. According to hi friend, Mary Jane Howe, "James showed great strength and kindness facing challenges as a
double amputee in a wheel chair for more than 30 years. He worked in
the disABILITY Support Services office and majored in
Business Management. James had always felt SAC to be a warm and loving place, so it is
fitting that we honor his memory at the college."
