Goal I. Access to Higher Education
NLC mailed its Application for Membership to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) on December 17, 2007, ironically the same date the Wright Brothers made their first flight in 1903 at Kitty Hawk, NC – the same name as the main entrance road and mailing address of the new campus (Kitty Hawk Rd.).
