Faculty Spotlight
NVC Assistant Professor of Music Katharine Cartwright celebrated the release of "Ramblin' on My Mind: New Perspectives on the Blues," to which she contributed an article entitled "Guess These People Wonder What I'm Singing': Ella Fitzgerald's St. Louis Blues." The book is a January 2008 release for University of Illinois Press.
  

PAC Associate Professor of Communications Dr. Denise Barkis Richter is heading a PAC committee designed to explore ways to make the campus “environmentally friendly.” The committee has formed a partnership with the Alamo Area Council of Governments to discuss ideas for carpooling, ride-share, and other transportation alternatives for PAC.
