Northeast Lakeview College Beginning Admissions Checklist

Welcome to the Northeast Campus Online. The Alamo Community College District Northeast Campus is a collaborative effort by St. Philip's College and San Antonio College to provide for the educational and training needs of the people in the northeast sector of the city. A student will be able to enroll in any class offered at the Northeast Lakeview College for which he/she is qualified as a St. Philip's College student or as a San Antonio College student. The student has the option to determine the college of choice. Credits will be transcripted to the college designated by the student. We know and understand that getting started can seem difficult. We have provided a checklist to help you further along in the registration process. You can bring these items to Northeast Lakeview College upon your next or first visit.

Step 1
All Student must complete the
ApplyTexas application online

       Make sure you indicate whether you will be transcripted as a St. Philip's College or San Antonio

          College student.    
       Make sure you read and understand the information concerning Bacterial Meningitis.


Step 2
All official transcripts
        High school or GED


        Previous college
        We do not need high school transcript if you have college hours from an
          accredited college or university.


Step 3
THEA TESTING
All students are required to take the THEA Test or THEA Alternative (Accuplacer) before enrolling in college level courses. Students may qualify for a THEA exemption based on the criteria below:
        Have a bachelor's degree or higher
        Completed Basic Military Training prior to Sept. 1, 1989
        Obtain ACT minimum composite score (not more than three years old) of 23,
           with minimum individual Math and English scores of 19
        Obtain SAT scores April 1, 1995, and thereafter (not more than three years old)
           with a minimum score of 1070, and a minimum score of 500 on each the verbal
           and the math
        Obtain THEA/TASP scores (not more than three years old) of 1770 on the writing test,
           TLI of 86 on the math, and 89 of the reading

        THEA WAIVED if:
           Enrolled in a Certificate Program of one year or less (level-one certificates.)

Step 4
If you are active duty military, present your military ID card and the military verification form. (located in the back of the schedule)

Step 5
If you are a dependent of active duty, present your military ID and the military verification form. (located in the back of the schedule)

 


Step 6
If you are retired military, present your DD-214

 


Step 7
Visit the Northeast Campus Welcome Center to continue the Registration process.
