Open Repositories for Teaching
The Open Access model for publication and disseminating information is growing. One offspring of the Open Access movement is the Open Courseware Repository. Several institutions are now posting freely available course content (sometimes referred to as learning objects) on the open web. Typically, their licensing for use is based on open access principles.
To sample publications that are modeled on Open Access, see the Hot Links field for your discipline.
