Other Important Information and Resources:

Attendance

While many Continuing Education courses have special attendance requirements, 80 percent attendance is the typical requirement for Continuing Education if the individual is to receive a Certificate of Completion from the College. Students should take note of attendance requirements upon beginning a course of instruction since requirements are announced at the beginning of every course.

CEUs

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are a nationally recognized measure of skills or work-related training gained in a continuing education course. One CEU represents ten class hours (contact hours). Transcripts listing CEU credits satisfactorily completed will be available upon request. Otherwise, a certificate of completion is awarded upon course completion.

Students taking 40-clock hours or more:

Students enrolled in non-credit courses of 40-clock hours or more of instruction will be required to purchase a permit if they wish to park on campus. (One or two week courses are exempt from this requirement.) Permits may be purchased from the Business Office at the time tuition is paid. Parking fees for the full year will be $21.00 and after January 1, $11.00. Parking permits must be purchased and properly displayed by the first day of class.
