Learning with Dogs
Location: Cypress Campus Center Patio
On this day only, learn about the buildings and the lake on Northwest Vista College campus while walking your dog. Register at 9:30 and walk begins at 10:00 am sharp. Also learn about the Importance of Pets and Stress Relief; How to Select a Dog; Spay and Neutering; Household Dangers for Pets, Dog Bite Prevention; Travelling with Animals; and much more! The Delta Society will demonstrate how dogs are used in hospitals for therapy. The Society for Prevention of Cruely to Animals will have dogs for adoption and the Animal Communicator will be here to answer your questions. You may choose to have your dog in costume for the contest judging at 11:00 am. Owners are responsible to keep their dogs on leash and clean up after them. Open to everyone.
