During 2004 and 2005, Northwest Vista College students, staff, and faculty met for a series of planning meetings to participate in the development of the Campus Master Plan. Our partner in this endeavor was the firm of Alamo Architects. What began as a brainstorming session to determine campus needs, evolved into five possible plans. Eventually, the best elements of each plan was incorporated into one. This is the master plan (click here for a large version) that you see here. The CIP will allow the campus to move forward with the construction of five buildings shown on this plan including two academic centers, a new library, a fine and performing arts center, and a campus center. Future CIP programs will allow us to add several additional academic buildings. You can also view the updated NVC Campus Map (click here for a pdf version).
