Open House

Open House at the library for everyone, featuring student readings from the "Lantana Review." Also available are 15 minute mini-workshops on topics such as "Find It Now" and "Power for your Powerpoint' and others. Refreshments will be offered.

Star Party
Location: Parking Lot in front of Mountain Laurel Hall
View the stars and constellations from campus after dark with help from the San Antonio Astronomical Society and their telescopes. Sponsored by the Geology and Physics disciplines. Targeted Audience: NVC students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community.


International Education Week: Visiting Artist & Fulbright Scholar Dr. Rajagopala Srinivasan
Location: Palmetto Center for the Arts 107
In celebration of Fall Into the Arts and International Education Week, Northwest Vista College welcomes flutist Dr. Rajagopala Srinivasan, distinguished visiting Fulbright scholar in North and South Indian classical music. Dr. Srinivasan is currently in residence at the University of North Texas/Denton.

Dr. Srinivasan will be in residance from Monday, November 16 through Wednesday, November 18. On Monday evening at 8 PM, he will do a live broadcast on Planet Jazz for Trinity University's KRTU Jazz 91.7 FM. Contact Katchie Cartwright, 486-4828 kcartwright2@alamo.edu. A schedule of Dr. Srinivasan's presentations for the campus community on Tuesday is given below.
