Our Intentions
- We will share responsibility to serve as guardians of our group processes; pause when we need to pause to allow us to refocus to get back on track. (Anyone is free to ask for a pause.)
- We will continue to practice fun, appreciation, celebration, and care for each others areas of responsibility. We will remember joy.
- Confidential material remains in the team, unless negotiated. If we’re not sure how to ob-serve this, we check it out.
- No one knows when we disagree, we serve the college as a team. We collectively as-sume responsibility for our decisions.
- We ask for what we need and offer what we can.
- We listen and ask for the kind of support we want from each other as we share the issues and call on our team intention of support and refuge.
- We refrain from telling each other how to do our jobs and focus on
supporting each other’s professional growth.
- We respect our different styles of leadership.
- We listen to each other in curiosity and compassion—without judgment.
- We assume each other’s good intent and clear up misunderstandings as we go.
- We inform each other of what we’ve heard (around the college) and do not make a judgment based on what we've heard.
