Employee development is part of an employee’s journey which starts at the time they are hired. Everything we do in regards to development revolves around the NVC Mission , the success of our Students, Workforce, and the Community. New employees are engaged in a variety of orientation aspects. Once they settle in, developing action plans to strengthen skills and competencies become a part of the development process as well.
We ask employees to take responsibility for their development by using a variety of resources to help them with their action plans, as well as self- assessing their developmental needs with their supervisor through the annual appraisal and feedback processes.
