Find books / media at Northwest Vista College and other ACCD colleges.

You can check out books, CDs and videos / DVDs.They are all located in the west wing of the library.
You will need your student ID or a valid picture ID in order to check out materials.

Online Databases - Find Articles

The online databases give you access to thousands of scholarly journals, magazines, newspapers and materials from books. Use your original PALS username and password to log in to the databases from off campus.

Oxford Reference Books Online - A large collection of encyclopedias and dictionaries for all subjects, searchable by title or by the whole collection! Many of the famous Oxford Companions are included.

Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center - provides information on social issues. Access viewpoint articles, topic overviews, statistics, primary documents, links to websites, and full-text magazine and newspaper articles

Student Research Center - A search interface designed specifically for secondary school students according to their needs and search abilities. Users can easily pre-determine which content sources (e.g., Magazines, Newspapers, Biographies, Country Reports, Film & Video) will be included with their search or search databases through topic headings.
