ACCESSING LIBRARY DATABASES FROM OFF CAMPUS

DID YOU KNOW?

  • You don't have to rely on the Web to find information for your college papers!
  • Articles from scholarly books and journals are available at your fingertips from any computer with Internet access!
  • You don't even need to come on campus!
  • Nearly all of the Northwest Vista College Library's online subscription databases are also accessible off campus to students, faculty and staff.
  • All databases are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

    Just follow these simple steps:

    •Go to http://www.accd.edu/nvc/lrc/

    •Click on Online Databases

•Click on Alphabetical List or the Subject links

•Click on the title of the database

•Log in using the NVC Database Login page

•You will be asked for a login and password. The login is your PALS login and the password is your original PALS password that is comprised of the first two letters of your last name followed by the last six numbers of your social security number. No spaces.

    •Example: bsmith SM123456
(If you do not know your PALS login click on the Login Help link and type in your social security number.)
