Unattended
Children Policy
The
Northwest Vista College Library is open to college students,
faculty, staff, and community members. Children are welcome
to visit the library but, for their own safety, must be accompanied
at all times by a parent or an adult. The library staff cannot
be responsible for the safety of children; therefore children
must not be left unattended in the library. Minors who are
left unattended will be reported to Campus Police after reasonable
attempts have been made to locate a parent or guardian.
Additionally,
it is important to remember that the library is a place of
study and research. Noisy and disruptive behavior disturbs
the learning process. Rules of common courtesy should always
be observed.
