Army ROTC at Northwest Vista is dedicated to developing future leaders who are interested in serving as United States Army Officers. The Army ROTC program at Northwest Vista feeds into the ROTC program at UTSA, and many of the training events will be conducted jointly with the UTSA Army ROTC.
There is No military obligation or contract required to take any ROTC class offered at Northwest Vista College.
Freshman and sophomore classes will focus on developing Leadership fundamentals, time and stress management techniques, and be provided an introduction to the Army in general.
In addition to classroom study, ROTC students will participate in physical fitness training and have opportunities to participate in land navigation, rappelling, water survival, and introduction to Army tactics and leadership. |
