- We are Grassroots. We create theatre in our community because we believe in the power of theatre. We are an integral part of our college community, not an isolated click
- In our theatre program, we love to perform, but everything we do goes beyond the performance. We believe in creating learning opportunities for students and audiences. We challenge our college community with our creative performances; we try to make a difference in education, the community and our futures.
- Our projects are student driven. Faculty encourages students to develop their own theatre, and we are happy to support all student-driven activities.
Student’s Comments:
“As long as I have theatre I have life. Theatre is my reality, and the ‘real world’ is a dream land to me”
Scharonda Donald
Drama Club President
“Drama isn't my field of study, but it's fun. Go ahead, audition for a play on a whim. it may lead to giggles and frolics, and maybe even a sandwich.”
Bri Alwood
Performer, “What a Piece of Work is Man” and Children’s plays of Fall 2006
