Engineering and Northwest Vista College
Northwest Vista College (NVC) offers a variety of basic engineering courses. These courses are primarily transfer courses, for the student who will eventually pursue a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering at a university. However, classes in AutoCAD and engineering surveying also include the development of directly marketable skills, for those students who plan to immediately enter the workforce.
An Associate's of Engineering degree is available at NVC. This degree combines the core curriculum (basic courses in math, science, communication, etc.) with engineering and technical electives. The engineering and technical electives can be selected, depending on the student's expected university and specific engineering major.
