Bio/Teaching Philosophy
Part of my professional background is working in an administrative role within non-traditional unversity settings. I enjoyed working with students of all ages and most diverse backgrounds, and I was always fortunate to learn something from them.

My recent endeavors revolve around individual & group counseling, and research in the area of eating disorders.

My teaching philosophy is very simple: I believe that learning is part of life, and that we continuously learn from people, situations, and the environments we are in. As a faculty member at Northwest Vista College, I value collaborative learning and strive to be a good facilitator in your learning process. My goal is to make the topic of psychology something you understand, are enthusiastic about, and apply in your everyday life.

My hobbies are related to traveling to different countries, photography, reading, and really anything related to animals.

You are truly part of a great college and I hope to get the opportunity to meet you!
