Bio/Teaching Philosophy
When I teach I want to do the best that I can to encourage my students to experience their own understanding of Psychology and the teaching-learning process. I want my students not only to be aware of their beliefs, but to understand what influenced those beliefs. 

It is my hope to show them how to share those beliefs with colleagues, friends, and mentors throughout their careers and their lives. In order for these things to occur, my students must be able to clarify their own goals, and identify how my class can help them reach those goals. It is my hope that my students develop their own vision to give them a sense of direction for their careers.

I want my students to pose questions that will then enable them to engage in problem solving situations. I want my students to learn to think, question, and absorb all possibilities before coming to a conclusion.
