Assessments

We offer a variety of assessments to identify you interests, values, experiences and abilities. These are similar to multiple-choice exams, but are not timed and do not have right or wrong answers. Reviewing and understanding the outcomes will help lead to exploring and choosing different majors and careers.

Choices Planner

Choices Planner is an interactive tool to help you learn about yourself with assessments, career/goal planning and resume/interviewing assistance.

1. Go to Choices Planner Web page
2. Click on "Create Your Own Portfolio"
3. Use Site User ID: 1034757
4. Use Site Password: studentsuccess
5. Get Started: Under the blue WORK tab, take the 1-5 assessments under "Connect Yourself to Careers"

Undeclared Major and Career Counseling

Advisors are able to provide one-on-one guidance in exploring and choosing a major and/or career. This will usually follow some initial assessments so that we may interpret your results, discuss your personal goals, and guide you to additional resources or services. Contact the CaTS Center today to make an appointment.

Once you have selected your major, an academic advisor can assist you in changing your major/concentration and receive your degree and/or transfer plans for course selection.
