Eligibility Requirements
Exceptional high school juniors and seniors may enroll at the Alamo Colleges before graduating from high school. The Early Admissions program allows qualified students who are 16 years of age or older to get a jump start on their future by taking college courses.
Maximum Course Load In accordance with State regulations and the Alamo Community Colleges policy, students may take up to two (2) courses per regular semester. The number of courses a student may enroll in will be determined by their high school course load and the recommendation of a college counselor (counseling card), advisor or other designee. Maximum combined class load must not exceed eighteen (18) semester credit hours, counting each high school course as equivalent to one, three (3) semester credit hour course.
Re-enrollment Requirements
Re-enrollment eligibility in subsequent semesters requires a grade of “C” or better in all college-level courses.
