Cross/Concurrent Enrollment

Students enrolling concurrently at Northwest Vista College and any of the other Alamo College (Palo Alto College, St. Philip's College and San Antonio College) during the same semester may combine their fees and tuition. At the time tuition and fees are paid, the student must inform the bursar or cashier of the cross enrollment so that charges are not duplicated.

A student registered concurrently at Northwest Vista College and another Texas public institution of higher education must pay minimum or base tuition at only one of these institutions. If evidence of this minimum or base tuition payment at another institution is produced, the student is assessed tuition charges computed at the hourly rate for Northwest Vista College. All other appropriate fees are assessed according to the Northwest Vista College catalog.

Financial Aid Checks

The Business Office will disburse checks for Pell Grants, loans, and/or scholarships. The first check run for fall and spring semesters are mailed to the permanent address on file without exception.  Therefore, it is important to always keep permanent address information current.  The remainder of the semester checks will be made available at the Business Office for two weeks and then, if not picked up, will be mailed.  To pick up a check at the Business Office a picture identification and student ID will be required.

If specific information is needed regarding the Financial Aid awards, please contact the Financial Aid Office at 486-4600, or click here.
