Alamo Colleges Northside Excel Academy Scholarships
Deadline:
Scholarship Criteria: For students who graduate from the Northside Excel Academy; Minimum 2.0 GPA; Full-Time or Part-Time. For information contact NISD or AC Student Financial Services.
Scholarship Amount: $ 750 per semester for Full-Time students; $375 per semester for Part-Time students.

Alamo Colleges O Henry Scholarship

Scholarship Criteria: For students on probation status with the Bexar County Community Supervision and Corrections Department; Minimum 2.0 GPA or GED; Full-Time or Part-Time student.
Scholarship Amount: $1000 per semester for Full-Time students; pro-rated amount for Part-Time students as determined by number of hours enrolled.

Network Power Scholarship

Scholarship Criteria: Network Power/Texas is offering $500 scholarships for women. Founded in 1980, Network Power is a nonprofit support group for women whose purpose is to promote equity and self-sufficiency for women through educational programs, activities and services. To qualify, you must be a woman enrolled at one of the Alamo Colleges and have a 2.5 grade point average. Scholarship deadline is Dec. 1. Alamo Colleges SAHA Scholarship

Scholarship Criteria: For students who are residents in public housing as certified by the San Antonio Housing Authority; Minimum 2.0 GPA; Full-Time students only; any major; at any of the Alamo Colleges. Contact AC Student Financial Services or SAHA for more information.
Scholarship Amount: $750 per semester for Full-Time students for 2 consecutive semesters.

Amelia & Tino Duran Scholarship

Sequor/Challenge High School Scholarship

Alamo Colleges King William Association Scholarship

Scholarship Criteria: For students graduating from Brackenridge High School. Minimum 2.5 GPA; Full-Time students only; Any major; pursuing Associate's Degree; must accept mentor provided by King William Association.
Scholarship Amount: $1000 per semester for 4 consecutive semesters.

Alamo Chapter Federal Criminal Justice Scholarship

Scholarship Criteria: Open to Criminal Justice majors. Students must be enrolling in their final semester in a 2 + 2 Transfer Program; must provide PROOF of registration at UTSA for the following semester in the Criminal Justice program as a full-time student; must maintain a minimum GPA of minimum 2.7; must demonstrate financial need; satisfactorily pass the SAT or ACT with a score sufficient for entry or completed a minimum of 30 credit hours at the community college with a GPA of 2.7; students may be full and part-time. Alamo Colleges Scholarship application is required.

Alamo Colleges SIAWE-Society of Iranian American Women for Education Scholarship

Scholarship Criteria: For students who are either Iranians, or of Iranian descent and who possess an F-1 Visa, or are a legal resident or U.S. citizen; Minimum 3.0 GPA; demonstrate financial need; Full-Time students only; Required to submit a 300 word essay in English on personal, academic and career goals.
Scholarship Amount: $500 per semester for 2 consecutive semesters for a legal resident or U.S. citizen; $1,250 per semester for 2 consecutive semesters for students in a legal F-1 status.

Conceptual Mind Works / Dr. Harold G. Longbotham Scholarship

Scholarship Criteria: Open to Math and Science Majors. 2.5 GPA, sophomore, merit, and financial needs, full time. Alamo Colleges Scholarship Application is required. ACORN Scholarship
Deadline: Refer to Description & Criteria section
Scholarship Criteria: Open to Occupational Therapy majors. Alamo Colleges Scholarship application is required with "ACORN Scholarship" indicated on the application. Student must be graduating or have graduated high school with at least a 2.0 GPA; in the upper two-thirds of graduating class; satisfactorily passed the TAKS; must be enrolling as a full-time student (12 hours or more). Deadline: One month prior to high school graduation or four months before intended semester, if already attending college.

Alamo Colleges NISD GED Scholarship

Scholarship Criteria: For students who graduate with a GED issued by the NISD GED Adult Education Program; Minimum 2.0 GPA to renew scholarship award; Full-Time or Part-Time students.
Scholarship Amount: $750 per semester for Full-Time students; $375 per semester for Part-Time students.

Alamo Colleges Senator Frank Madla, Jr. Endowed Scholarship

Scholarship Criteria: For new or continuing students; Minimum GPA: 2.0; Applicant does not need to be PELL Grant eligible, but financial need is considered. Open to Full-Time and Part-Time students. (Funds are also designated for students enrooled in Continuing Education photography courses)
Scholarship Amount: $100 per creditr hour with a minimum of 6 hours per semester or $1500 max. per semester for 15credit hours. (Continuing Education limited to cost of course(s) or $250, which ever is less.)

Communication Arts Scholarship

Scholarship Criteria: For students majoring in English, Journalism, Communications or Radio-TV-Film at any Alamo Community College. Must have a degree plan; Minimum 3.0 GPA; Must have completed 24 credit hours in major; Must demonstrate community volunteerism; Open to Full-Time and Part-Time students. Alamo Colleges Scholarship application required.
Scholarship Amount: $300 per semester for Full-Time students; $150 per semester for Part-Time students.

Alamo Colleges Kendra Ann Ward Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Scholarship Criteria: For students majoring in Music at any of the Alamo Colleges. Minimum 2.75 GPA; Full Time students only; Pell Grant eligibility not required; must demonstrate community volunteerism.
Scholarship Amount: $750 per semester for up to 6 consecutive semesters (3 academic years) while enrolled at an Alamo Community College
