Scholarship Criteria: For students enrolled in any major at any of the Alamo Colleges; Minimum 2.0 GPA; Full-Time or Part-Time students; Funds to be used for textbooks. Requires AC scholarship application.

Alamo Colleges King William Association Scholarship

Scholarship Criteria: For students graduating from Brackenridge High School. Minimum 2.5 GPA; Full-Time students only; Any major; pursuing Associate's Degree; must accept mentor provided by King William Association.
Scholarship Amount: $1000 per semester for 4 consecutive semesters.

SA Gardenia & Musical Club Scholarship

Scholarship Criteria: For students pursuing a degree in the area of Fine Arts (music, voice, multiple forms of art and drama, etc.) at any of the Alamo Colleges; Minimum 2.0 GPA

Alamo Colleges NISD GED Scholarship
Deadline:
Scholarship Criteria: For students who graduate with a GED issued by the NISD GED Adult Education Program; Minimum 2.0 GPA to renew scholarship award; Full-Time or Part-Time students.
Scholarship Amount: $750 per semester for Full-Time students; $375 per semester for Part-Time students.

ACORN Scholarship
Deadline: Refer to Description & Criteria section
Scholarship Criteria: Open to Occupational Therapy majors. Alamo Colleges Scholarship application is required with "ACORN Scholarship" indicated on the application. Student must be graduating or have graduated high school with at least a 2.0 GPA; in the upper two-thirds of graduating class; satisfactorily passed the TAKS; must be enrolling as a full-time student (12 hours or more). Deadline: One month prior to high school graduation or four months before intended semester, if already attending college.

Alamo Colleges Senator Frank Madla, Jr. Endowed Scholarship

Scholarship Criteria: For new or continuing students; Minimum GPA: 2.0; Applicant does not need to be PELL Grant eligible, but financial need is considered. Open to Full-Time and Part-Time students. (Funds are also designated for students enrooled in Continuing Education photography courses)
Scholarship Amount: $100 per creditr hour with a minimum of 6 hours per semester or $1500 max. per semester for 15credit hours. (Continuing Education limited to cost of course(s) or $250, which ever is less.)

SA YES Foundation Scholarship

Scholarship Criteria: The San Antonio Youth Education Scholarships are available to individuals who wish to continue their studies at an accredited college, university or educational programs in San Antonio and designated south Texas counties. Recipients must currently reside in a household with an annual gross income not greater thank $40,000. Applicants may be current high school seniors, students currently enrolled in a college, university or vocational school and students preparing to enroll in such institutions in years subsequent to high school or GED completion. Alamo Colleges Kendra Ann Ward Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Scholarship Criteria: For students majoring in Music at any of the Alamo Colleges. Minimum 2.75 GPA; Full Time students only; Pell Grant eligibility not required; must demonstrate community volunteerism.
Scholarship Amount: $750 per semester for up to 6 consecutive semesters (3 academic years) while enrolled at an Alamo Community College

Sam Riklin Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship Criteria: Open to Occupational Therapy majors. Alamo Colleges Scholarship application is required with "ACORN Scholarship" indicated on application. Students must be graduating or have graduated high school with at least a 2.0 GPA; in the upper two-thirds of graduating class; satisfactorily passed the TAKS; must be enrolling as a full-time student (12 hours or more) Deadline: One month before high school graduation or four months before intended semester, if already in college.

Assistantship in Fine and Performing Arts
Deadline: N/A
Scholarship Criteria: The Assistantship in Fine & Performing Arts provides support for arts programs at NVC, including the Vis-à-vis Visiting Artist Series, which brings guest artists to NVC for performances, lectures, and residencies. This position is ideal for students focusing on music, dance, theatre, art, multimedia and/or marketing. This is a work-study program, based on financial aid eligibility. Students are required to have submitted a completed FAFSA application.
