If you are struggling in your developmental math course and need help developing a strategy for success, or if you just need to brush up on a specific topic like fractions just come by JH-316.

Here are some of the services we offer:

• Tutor students struggling with the beginning of the semester review
• Help students catch up on missed work due to an absence
• Support students who have failed a test
• Help students develop strategies for more successful test taking
• Coach study skills, help make note cards
• Encourage students to persist
• Create a quiet place for students to finish a quiz or test
• Provide a centralized easily accessible place to explore issues which may interfere with math performance
• Develop strategies for students who struggle with learning
• Allow students who need to transfer from one class to another to have access to a tutoring bridge
• Help students as they transition into College Algebra
• Counsel students during pre and post registration periods, and give guidance when students want to drop a math course
