RNSG 1006 - Re-Entry Nursing Update (128 Hrs)
Current nursing practice as related to the clinical areas of medical-surgical, maternal-child, psychiatric-mental health, community health, and emergency nursing care. This course is designed for inactive nurses returning to active practice. This course will summarize the Nursing Practice Act of Texas; differentiate and support holistic nursing care for clients and families utilizing appropriate nursing knowledge, experience, and legal/ethical standards of care; compare and contrast the different roles of professional nurses and their contributions to the profession; and utilize critical thinking principles to develop a holistic plan of care for clients with health care needs. This course is conducted online through the Virtual College of Texas. Cost: $420
