Palo Alto College offers diversified courses to help prepare a child care worker, a manager, or someone interested in opening their own day care. In the Child Development Associate (CDA) Program students will study the principles of normal child growth and development from conception to adolescence. Focus on physical, cognitive, social, and emotional domains of development. (Assessment fees included).
(no class during Spring Break 3/17-19, 3/24 and 5/26)
Upon completion of the program, students are eligible for certification by the Council for Early Childhood Professional Recognition after paying an assessment fee of $325 to the Council.
These courses and many other courses listed in this schedule are eligible for financial aid assistance. Applications need to be processed a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the course offering.
