COMPTIA A+ CERTIFICATION TRAINING
The Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) A+ Certification has become the industry standard for skills needed by computer support professionals in today’s fast-paced information technology environment. Palo Alto’s CompTIA A+ Computer Certification program covers everything you’ll need to get this valuable industry-wide certification. Total instruction time is 63 hours including 2 manadory Saturday PC Clinics. Classes are held at the Advanced Technology Center (ATC) at the Port of San Antonio (formerly KellyUSA), 312 Clarence Tinker Drive, San Antonio 78226.
At Palo Alto College, our approach to A+ Certification involves extensive hands-on instruction. In addition to classroom instruction time, students will repair and replace hardware, install and troubleshoot software, and observe and diagnose real world PC problems during our monthly PC Clinic. Our students are prepared not only to pass the A+ Certification Test, but start lifetime careers as information technology professionals.
Course prices are all inclusive! That means in addition to tuition, your course fee includes: textbooks, toolkit, access to a practice test bank for 6 months, and test vouchers.

About CompTIA A+ Certification
CompTIA A+ Certification testing consists of two exams: the A+ Essentials test, followed by one of the following elective tests:
220-602 IT Technician – A general hardware and software support test. Closest to the 2003 A+ Standard. Aimed at IT Professionals seeking to validate their skill set.
220-603 Remote Support Technician – Emphasizes skill sets involved in troubleshooting and interacting with customers remotely via the telephone or e-mail. Ideal for Help Desk Support technicians.
220-604 Depot Technician – Emphasizes skills needed for computer hardware repair and troubleshooting techniques. Ideal for Bench Techs.
