The Lumina Foundation awarded the Alamo Community College District including Palo Alto College a planning grant known as the “Achieving the Dream: Community Colleges Count.” It is a multi-year initiative that addresses a national imperative: increasing the success of underserved students at community colleges.

This book reviews the College's accomplishments during the 2004-05 and 2005-06 academic years. It also previews the exciting facilities that will result from the passage of the November 2005 bond issue.

Dr. Ana M. “Cha” Guzmán hosted Palo Alto College’s Fall 2005 Convocation for Faculty and Staff. To celebrate the new academic year and PAC’s 20th anniversary, Dr. Guzmán’s Convocation presentation addressed accomplishments over the past year as well as introduced the framework for the “Culture of Innovation”, her vision for the future of the College.
