ACT DEGREE

These degrees are intended for the working adult and for students wanting to enter the work place quickly. They provide students with an excellent foundation of office skills in software, team building, accounting, business communications, business math and machines, just to name a few.

In scheduling courses for an Associate Degree in ACT, the College has adopted a rotation schedule for the classes in the program. To avoid small class cancellations, certain courses in certain semesters may be offered only in the evening. Since our students respond better to classroom instruction, most of our classes are offered on campus rather than online.

2+2 PROGRAMS

Palo Alto College has articulation agreements with Texas A&M University-San Antonio and UT-Brownsville to offer students the first two years of study toward a BAAS or BAT degree. This saves the student money and ensures all classes transfer.

The additional two years of study at the listed college result in a Baccalaureate Degree (2+2 Programs). See the Center for Academic Transitions on campus for the appropriate agreement.
