Student Government Association
Mission Statement

The Student Government Association (SGA) is the resounding voice of the student body.  We exist as the liaison between the students and Palo Alto College’s staff, faculty, and administration.  SGA works to enhance the educational experience of students at PAC by serving as an advocate for addressing student concerns.  Every student at PAC is a member of SGA; the SGA only works if you participate. 
  
To take a more active role, students are encouraged to become voting members of SGA. 

As an active member, you will benefit by:

• Gaining valuable leadership experience
• Increasing your negotiation, team-building, networking, and critical thinking skills
• Understanding how to effectively influence change by addressing the needs of students
• Interacting within the established setting of an institution of higher learning
• Building your résumé and portfolio
• Meeting new people and having fun
• Shaping the future legacy of Palo Alto College
